    Mold Design and Mold Flow Analysis

    Use the first-class casting simulation software JS Cast to design runners, gates and exhaust. We analyze critical factors such as material flow, filling behavior, and potential weaknesses during the planning phase. This comprehensive analysis ensures consistently high quality while minimizing development risks. This excellent simulation design software is combined with our technology and uses UG and Pro/E solutions to support the design of our die-casting molds and magnesium semi-solid injection molds.

    Different surface treatment for magnesium

    Different surface treatment was applied to defense for magnesium alloy in order to improve capability, extend application field and increase service life. Commonly used surface treatments include chemical conversion or oxidation film treatment(phosphating), passivation, anodizing, micro-arc oxidation, electro/chemical plating, spraying coating, painting and powder coating technology for metal surfaces. For years of the developments, we can do phosphating, passivation and powder coating in-house, with our pretreatment, the magnesium die casting parts can be finished by electro nickeling, and the other electroplated solutions, the final parts were used in aerospace, military and other fields. Based on accumulated experience, our unique magnesium alloy composite surface treatment technology can extend the salt spray test of parts to over 1000 hours and increase their lifespan to over 90,000 hours. Maglitek is willing to share its extensive experience in magnesium surface treatments and provide outsourced magnesium parts surface treatment services.

    In addition to replacing aluminum alloy products with magnesium alloy, a greater advantage of Maglitek is to design a part consisting of steel, plastic, or aluminum alloy to be a single magnesium alloy part. It saves the costs of materials and assembly while improving the productivity. Magnesium components could reduce the weight of components that are currently made of aluminum alloys by approximately 30 %.
