Injection speed is another crucial parameter in the magnesium die casting process. Controlling the injection speed directly affects the filling and solidification process of the magnesium liquid. If the injection speed is too high, bubbles and metal splashing will occur during filling, affecting the quality and surface finish of the casting; conversely, if the injection speed is too low, the magnesium liquid may fail to fill the mold cavity completely or cold shuts may occur. In actual production, our experienced die casting engineers will determine the appropriate injection speed based on the specific shape and size of the parts and the fluidity of the magnesium alloy liquid.
Every step of the process from tooling design to final surface treatments are done in-house at our ISO-certified facility.
